Michigan that is. There is a staging area for the White Pine Trail. I wasn't using the trail, but leaving my car while I meandered through the Manistee Forest.
I mention this because there is an campground adjacent. When I asked about leaving my car for a couple days,a nice young lady said, "No Problem we'll keep a eye on it." WOW, no fee, no problem, the world Is really full off nice people.
Knowing the car wouldn't be parted out on Craigslist, I spent the afternoon exploring the sandy "gravel" roads to Baldwin. I'm glad the tires are under inflated for this trip!
This is a shameless attempt to save the the most advanced civilization in
history from imminent self destruction by eliminating carbon emission,
dependence on foreign sources of fuel, obesity, hypertension and diabetes.
Cycling accomplishes all those things at once and helps us develop a better
understanding of ourselves, each other and our relationship to the cosmos.
Oh, horse puckey!
I like to ride bikes, have been doing it all my life.
The rest of that crap is just a fringe benefit,
and the blogosphere gives me a chance to share my interior
monologue with virtual rather than imaginary friends.
