This is a shameless attempt to save the the most advanced civilization in
history from imminent self destruction by eliminating carbon emission,
dependence on foreign sources of fuel, obesity, hypertension and diabetes.
Cycling accomplishes all those things at once and helps us develop a better
understanding of ourselves, each other and our relationship to the cosmos.

Oh, horse puckey!
I like to ride bikes, have been doing it all my life.
The rest of that crap is just a fringe benefit,
and the blogosphere gives me a chance to share my interior
monologue with virtual rather than imaginary friends.

Creepin' the streets

Ok, it could be me, but this has to qualify as totally fuckin' wierd!
Yes it is a hairpiece, I don't know anymore than that (the prospect of discovering flesh kept me from looking any closer).   I assume it fell from a passing aircraft or spaceship because I don't want to think anybody is taking scalps on the ring road around the mall.
Maybe it belongs to this chick!
If she wears boots like that, the hairpiece could make sense.  I should call up one of those TV cops and have them fit a body or two between them and see who fits.  I'm certain that Mark Harmon in his infinite wisdom could answer this but I am just creeped out.

  1. Is the mall road anywhere near the bike rack you saw (found) the boots? If so, we've got a great mystery on our hands thanks to your meanderings on bicycle. I have to admit, as much as I bicycle, I often feel a sense of let down that I don't run into more of this or that kind of road/personal detritus -- or maybe even some cash? You seem to have a great sense for finding it. Commended!

  2. Actually the boots were found a different day at a different store, but no less wierd.
