This is a shameless attempt to save the the most advanced civilization in
history from imminent self destruction by eliminating carbon emission,
dependence on foreign sources of fuel,obesity, hypertension and diabetes.
Cycling accomplishes all those things at once and helps us develop a better
understanding of ourselves, each other and our relationship to the cosmos.

I like to ride bikes, have been doing it all my life.
The rest of that crap is just a fringe benefit,
and the blogosphere gives me a chance to share my interior
monologue with virtual rather than imaginary friends.

Vintage Porn

  It started out as a beautiful Sunday stroll.  The weather was superb.  Perfectly 55 degrees, no humidity, you know --sweater weather.  I took out the Hunq intending 30 or so miles and a little shopping in the middle.
 I was stricken by beautiful indecency starting with
a Peugeot at the coffee shop, beautifully accessorized with this polka dot helmet. 

Things went more upscale when I swung by the local food co-op to find this couple loading their Hillborne
and I had a chance to stop and chat.  We discussed all things Riv (comfort, beauty) before
parting and  I was faced with this Colnago, with such an elegant paint job and 

magnificant chrome lugs.
But it didn't stop there
The classic hits just kept on rolling with this Nishiki Mixte
Showing off it's own remarkable style!

Who needs football on an afternoon like this?
