I haven't been posting much lately because I have been battling a spammer who was using my sparsely read blog (what a loser) to pass along some sort of Trojan Horse disguised behind a promise of porn.   It's pretty pathetic that somebody would pick on a quiet unknown in the fly over zone.  "If you want some action look at the major markets you fool."  Anyway, I've been filtering and removing comments all month and I hope they've been discouraged and none of my readers were sucked in.

In the meantime, there has been a lot going on in my plague-isolated cycling, not the least of which is a chance to record regular commuting trips to benefit the League of Michigan Bicyclists.  The "BikeIt" challenge is backed by a foundation who has promised to pay .50 for each mile recorded from everyday bike riding.  The donations will help the LMB continue their efforts for stricter enforcement against distracted driving.

I'm off now for a few days away from the virus.  There are some counties in Michigan which are just full of trees, wildlife and country roads without sick people.  Oscoda county is one of the "green zone" places to hide from people determined to infect each other.  There have only been 23 confirmed infections in the whole county so it sounds like a few days of isolation in paradise.
