Solstice

To celebrate the longest day of the year, the local chamber music aficionados organized an event which was planned to be a rooftop event overlooking the downtown area until the sun went down.  Impending thunderstorms and possible tornadoes drove the event inside.  It was still a good reason to ride across town, Byron and I had a good time and managed to beat the storms.
A nice evening was had enjoying a jazz quintet (Hot Club of Detroit),

drinking wine in good company and watching the storms blow through.

Apparently I wasn't the only one to brave the weather on two wheels.
Somebody was out there taking the full brunt of the storm.
But the weather subsided just in time to finish the evening and start the trip home just after sunset.  When I left the restaurant I found a few interested people convened around Byron with some questions and compliments.  I got the chance once again to confuse them with an explanation of the Nuvinci hub.  A good ride and nice night for one.
